With over 15 years of experience, Brittany McConnell Photography was established in 2006, and in that time, Brittany’s work has been featured on billboards, magazines, and on an episode of “Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta.” In 2007-2008, she was the Digital Photography Instructor at North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville, Georgia; & from 2010-November 2021 she served as Resident Photography Artist for the John C. Campbell Folk School overseeing the Photography program, and teaching portraiture and lighting classes at the school.
Brittany’s favorite part about what she does is capturing the nuances that can sometimes be overlooked—the understated emotion, the fine details, the subtle interactions between two people. Central to the style of Brittany’s photography is her skilled use of light to create beautiful and dramatic effects. The ability to view scenes from a unique perspective, coupled with her attention to lighting and detail, make up the signature of Brittany McConnell Photography.
